Discover Your Inner Sparkle with Rainbow! 🌈
The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls is a nonprofit youth organization dedicated to empowering young women to shine. In a safe, fun, and caring environment, girls ages 11-20 are given the tools, training, and encouragement to develop into confident leaders.
More Than a Club: It’s a Launchpad for Life
We believe that every girl has a unique spirit ready to shine. At Rainbow, we provide the experiences that help you discover your strengths, build your confidence, and find your place in the world.
- Leadership is Our Playground: From leading meetings with parliamentary procedure to planning community service projects and fun events, you will gain real-world experience. Our members don’t just attend meetings—they run them!
- Service with a Smile: We love a challenge, especially when it comes to helping others. Through dedicated service projects, members learn the power of teamwork and the pride that comes from making a real difference in their communities.
- Friendships that Last a Lifetime: Rainbow Girls are ready for life because they’re part of a global family! You’ll build unbreakable bonds with girls from Colorado, across the nation, and even from countries all over the world. We love to travel, play games, and create memories together that last forever.
Our Legacy: Built by Girls, for Girls
Founded in 1922, Rainbow was created for young women to foster a love of spiritual principles like faith, hope, and charity. While our practices and programs continue to evolve, our core teachings remain the same, providing a timeless foundation for today’s dynamic young women.
Our world headquarters in McAlester, Oklahoma, is a testament to what our girls can accomplish when they are empowered with knowledge and energized by their own inner spirit.
Our Sisters Paved the Way! ✨
Rainbow girls go on to accomplish amazing things! We are so proud of our famous alumni who have used the skills they learned here to achieve greatness.
- Sandra Day O’Connor: First Female U.S. Supreme Court Justice.
